A villamos energetikai hálózatok áramlásait hagyományosan iteratív Load-Flow módszerrel lehet számítani. A különböző célú felhasználás, illetve az új technikák (neurális hálózatok, heurisztikus megoldások, optimalizációs megoldások) újfajta megközelítésnek adnak teret.
