The research can either concentrate solely on English phenomena or investigate English and Hungarian comparatively. The proposed framework is generative grammar (two salient models: Lexical-Functional Grammar and the Minimalist Program). In the case of LFG, implementational issues may receive special attention. Each of the following topics is a potential dissertation topic.
