Kommunikáció és kogníció tipikus és atipikus kapcsolatai: vizsgálatok kísérleti, neuropszichológiai és szemmozgás-követéses technikákkal, az eredmények illesztése a kommunikáció átfogó modelljeihez. A vizsgálatok tipikusan fejlődő gyermek, illetve neurotipikus felnőtt mintákon és/vagy atipikus fejlődésű, elsősorban autizmus spektrum zavarral élő mintákon történnek, s céljuk elsősorban a kommunikáció, a nyelv, az intencionalitás-tulajdonítás és a végrehajtó működések (komplex viselkedésvezérlés) finomabb kapcsolatainak feltérképezése. Célunk egyben az eredmények illesztése a humán kommunikáció átfogó modelljeihez, e modellek specifikus aspektusainak továbbfejlesztése.
Studies in typical and atypical relationships between cognition and communication, by using experimental, neuropsychological and eye-tracking techniques
Studies in typical and atypical relationships between cognition and communication, by using experimental, neuropsychological and eye-tracking techniques; integrating findings into overall models of communication. The studies involve typically developing children and neurotypical adults, and/or subjects with autism spectrum disorders, and their primary aim is to map the more specific relationships between communication, language, understanding of intentionality and executive functions (complex control of action). Our broader aims include the interpretation of our findings in the context of overall models of human communication, as well as improving some specific aspects of these models, accordingly.
