A percepció humán ontogenezisével és felnőttkori rugalmasságával kapcsolatban meglepő új eredmények születtek az elmúlt tíz év során. Egyrészt úgy tűnik, hogy az érzékelés képességének kifejlődése a kamaszkor végéig eltart, másrészt a felnőtt emberi agy perceptuális képességei is jelentősen megváltoztathatók specifikus tréninggel. Vizsgálatainkkal a látás alfunkcióinak fejlődési trajektóriáit térképezzük fel tipikusan fejlődő és rendellenesen fejlődő csoportokban. Valamennyi életkori csoport tanulási képességét is vizsgáljuk.
During the past 10 years there have been surprising new results with respect to the ontogenetic development of perception, and adult perceptual plasticity. On one hand, it seems that perceptual develoment is not complete until the end of adolescence, on the other hand, perceptual skills of the adult brain can be improved with specific training. In our studies, we map the trajectories of development in typically and atypically developing groups. We also look at learning capacities of different age-groups.
