Description of the research topic:

The research topic is to investigate he origin of enhanced radon activity in subsurface waters (thermal waters, karst waters). Especially the investiagation of biologically active radium accumulation is one aim in the Budai thermal karst system. The research includes to separate different parts of samples with different radium content and radon exhalation properties and the mechanism of the accumulation will be studied.
