Description of the research topic:
Development and application of computational methods able to support drug discovery projects. The methods include classical and quantum mechanical molecular modelling tools, quantitative structure-activity relationship studies, ligand and protein structure based virtual screening, molecular dynamics and data mining. Analysis and prediction of physico-chemical properties and ligand-protein interactions of drug candidates in order to optimize these features and to develop potential drug candidates.
