Description of the research topic:

The concept of personality and its disorder is a central topic of contemporary clinical psychoanalysis. Debated issues imply comorbidity, dimensional versus categorical approaches to personality disorders, treatment possibilities in the psychodynamic spectrum (TFP, MBT, Supportive approaches). As far as psychosis is concerned psychodynamic and neurocognitiv approaches (CRT) can be matched to understand functioning and treatment possibilities. Conceptual and empirical research should be carried out in both cases for a successful completion of the dissertation.
