Description of the research topic:

This is the most neglected group of language learners. There are no commercially available teaching and learning materials designed for them and no teacher training programs offer this type of specialization. Research can be done on any aspect of the learning process as well as the efficiency of various teaching approaches including the use of speech or the use of sign languages.
