Description of the research topic:

Doctoral students admitted to the thematic unit Ancient natural philosophy and cosmology shall pursue their studies, and engage in research about a well defined topic of the natural philosophy and cosmology of the Presocratics, Plato, Aristotle, the Hellenistic philosophers, the representatives of these philosophical schools in the Imperial period, and furthermore of the late antique commentators of Aristotle.
