Description of the research topic:

During the last years mining of unstructured data became a relevant filed both in business (telecommunications, finance, engineering) and research (bioinformatics, sociology, economics) applications. Among seemingly unstructured data sets, hidden graph structures are proved to be very useful in the analysis. The research goal is to develop efficient models and algorithms in the framework of graph based data mining, which are capable to solve real problems in the analysis of „Big Data”.
