Description of the research topic:
Jacobi-Jordan algebras are special Jordan algebras which satisfy the Jacobi identity. A subclass of such algebras are the Bernstein algebras, but there are others as well. Not much is known about such algebras, although they seem to be useful in applications. The notion was introduced by Burde and myself last year. There are a lot of open questions like automorphisms, representations, etc.
