Description of the research topic:

Weak interactions of molecules play important role in wide scale of chemistry. These interactions participate to determine the structure of self-organized systems or formation such molecular complexes which can be applied in chemical sensors. These interactions plays also determinant role during solvation processes as formation of solvation shells in solution phase. Resulting reversible chemical processes this property opens new interesting research fields and offers applications of wide scale investigation methods. During the last few years we got practice to determine the thermodynamic properties in cases of fluorescent species in several chemical and biological models. Applying time-dependent methods we are able to get important information about the processes perform in the solvation shells of molecules interacted. The applicant will get opportunity to study one of the above described system using fluorescence, NMR, IR, Raman, Calorimetry and theoretical methods.
