2001-ben a Magyar Nyelvtudományi Társaság Gombocz Zoltán-díját kaptam meg, 2006-ban pedig a Kiss Lajos-díj Kuratóriuma nekem ítélte az első Kiss Lajos-díjat.2014-ben a Debreceni Egyetem Pro Cura Ingenii díjat adományozott nekem a tehetséggondozás terén végzett munkámért. 2009-től vagyok a Debreceni Egyetem Nyelvtudományok Doktori Iskolájának törzstagja, 2015. július 1-jétől a magyar nyelvészeti alprogram vezetője, 2017. októberétől a doktori iskola vezetője.
