Tagja vagyok az oxfordi Blackwell által kiadott European Journal of Philosophy szerkesztői tanácsadói testületének. 2004 tavaszi félévében vendégoktató voltam a Nottingham-i Egyetem Filozófia tanszékén. 1999-től 3 évig a European Society of Analytic Philosophy Közép-európai szekciójának elnöke voltam. Széchenyi professzori ösztöndíjat nyertem az 1998-2001-es időszakra. 1993-tól tagja voltam az MTA Filozófiai Tudományos Minősítő Bizottságának annak megszűnéséig. (to be translated)
