He was member of three Academic Svcientifioc Committee (Plant Protection, Plant Breeding, Kicrobiology). He headed the Agricultural Committee of MTA in Szeged. He is member of the Editorial Board of the Czech J. Genet. Plant Breeding, Cereal Res. Communications. Hi is member of the American and German Phytopathological Societies. He teaches the basics in breeding for disease resistance.
